I've got a 9800pro and my set up is a 21" as my primary with a 17" on the second video out. I don't have the 'extend desktop' feature turned on hence I can drag stuff to the 17 (usually video)- they are set to separate resoultions as well 1600x1200 on one and 1024x768 on the other. I haven't tinkered with any of the other dual view setting much since i primarily just throw up a movie on it while i'm working. Let me know if you need something tried out...
