Probably one of the most important things is that it's going to need to integrate into AD well. We're trying to get to single signon for most services, and it's going to be an administrative nightmare for us to manage two sets of users/passwords once we grow larger. (We're looking to get over 100 employees by the end of the year.)
On disadvantage of this is that when you create a user you will need to create it in 2 locations. The Bynari server does support an LDAP addressbook, and there is limited functionality to import users from an old exchange server. If you are looking for full AD integration probably the way to go is with exchange.
