Save headaches and go with something else. Unless you need more performance 
than the P6 architecture allows, or get a very good deal, the quirks and 
oddities in the Athlon MP 760MP/760MPX platform can be very...aggravating. 
Trust me--I'm typing on one.

Are Athlon MPs cheap nowadays?  I think they are a much better option 
path.
