Yes, Comcast's news servers are ok and seem just as fast. In reality I was
trying to locate something a lot faster, i.e. normal speed, or close to,
than the torrents.

Despite DSL being slower than cable, Verizon makes up for it by having
some really, really awesome news servers. Great retention, and since it's
on Verizon's network, great speed.

Right now I'm doing buzzardnews' 50GB/mo, no speed cap, no daily limits
for $14/mo. This is much better than my 700MB-1.5GB/day per server, 3MB
speed @ $150 annual contract that I was paying newsfeeds and a hell of a
lot easier to deal with (and less stress on my system) since there's
only 1 server to download headers from vs. 2-6.
