No doubt the PM is a decent performer but theres no way in Hell it can
compete clock for clock with an A64, period! The advances made over the
years since the heyday of the PIII practically guarantees that. Athlon XP
whips the P3, Athlon64 whips the XP and there are thousands of reviews on
the Web with benchmark numbers that support those facts!
I think you need to go look at those "thousands of benchmarks" again. Find
me a review with the M 2.1ghz running on an 865/875/915 board and an athlon
@ 2.2. From both Anand and Tom, I see nothing backing your claim whatsoever.
Unless you yourself can prove otherwise, the fact remains that in many cases
the Pentium M is faster than the A64 - especially in gaming - on a clock for
clock basis.

The M =! the PIII, it's based on it, but not a mirror copy.
