Get the fastest passively cooled 6x00 NV card that supports their latest DVD
filter at the price you set.
If you go with the 6200, make sure you get the 128MB 6200 that DOES NOT have
turbo cache. That is a 64bit bus and can not be hacked into a 6600 unlike
the regular 128MB 6200.

Subject: [H] Video card for HTPC
Date: Wed, 01 Jun 2005 13:04:27 -0300
I'm thinking of upgrading my video card for my 1800+ HTPC. I was going to
go with either a 256MB FX6200 or a 128MB FX6600GT. It's $100 more for the
6600. I play the occasional game, but my main interest is upscaling DVDs
(I understand that Superbit DVDs upscale better.) Should I go all the way
to the 6600GT, or is the 6200 sufficient?
