Thanks, I downloaded the file and I'll try it when I get home. The reason I was thinking it was a driver issue is the fact it boots to safe mode ok with a resultion of 1600x1200. So I think the card is OK and that nothing is loose.
What do you mean by an addressing problem? IRQ conflict? Haven't seen one of those for a few years now, I thought that XP was really good at sorting out those issues.
