Biggest problem I have seen with Divx 6 so far is there are no options to configure. You give it the source files, tell it what audio/subtitle/video tracks to process, and it goes. Great for the average user, not really what I am looking for. But maybe it will be okay. I will encode some stuff tonight and let everyone know.
Meanwhile, I still highly recommend AutoGK for now. Gordian Knot has been the rippack of choice for turning video files/dvds/whatever into MPEG-4 using Xvid or Divx. However, it always required several programs to be installed and configured and run in series. AutoGK takes care of all that. Very easy to use, lots of advanced options for those who want to use them, and great output. Find it here: http://www.autogk.me.uk/ -- Brian
