Here in North Central Ohio we get as much precipitation as they do in Seattle with 5+ inches of it in July from all the thunderstorms. Last year we only had 2 days above 90° but this year we've had 12 of them so far. In any case the humidity seems like it's always 90+% so even when it's 80° it's sticky. We have central AC which we keep at 75° & I have a 7500BTU window unit in the computer room that I only run when the rest of the house is cool enough and it gets over 80° in here otherwise I'd have to have the rest of the house at 70° & the wife would be wearing sweats. In the winter time it's 68° or bust.
