I've been reading about installing hotfixes without a reboot on the MS pages, and I'm wondering if what I want to do is possible.

I want to be able to download all the updates for 98/ME/XP and burn them to a CD, and then run a batch file that will update a computer without my intervention.

Does anyone know if this is possible?

I believe that what you want is called an "Unattended Install CD" & yes it includes updates. You can learn more about it at <http://unattended.msfn.org/> & they have support forums at <http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php>. The have a step by step how to create your own XP unattended installation CD & I have tried it with only mixed results. I wanted to spend more time developing my own but have been too busy with other stuff. There is a lot of other good stuff at <http://msfn.org/>
