Why hardware based? "Hardware" would be a device that looks like
a KVM but uses software drivers unit that allows you to use a single
station to operate the others. I have seen these on Cyberguys but they are
pretty expensive. You push a button to select up to something like 30 plus
PCs from one server / workstation. I imagine with that many hosts this
device, in a server room, would be simpler, and more reliable then a
software solution. But as I recall, they are very expensive.
