Hey guys,
Are my eyes deceiving me? Or is this one of those odd Dell discounts that
are almost too good to be true? Check the link, it's for a Dell Dimension
9100 system that's fairly stripped down, but it includes their highly-rated
24" Flat Panel monitor.

Thing is, the monitor itself is over $1000 even on sale, this whole system
(including the monitor0 is $1299, and $1199 after the mail-in rebate.
Here's what I'm thinking, buy this system mainly for the monitor, and
installing a GeForce 7800 GTX card in it, and having a killer gaming rig. I
could install my own sound card and DVD/CD-RW from my current system and
upgrade RAM and the HD's as I go along.
Opinions?
