I think this is an extremely cool endeavor.

I'm having some 'hrmm' and I'm wondering if you guys know where I could
get ALL the 'final' patches for Windows 98,
and a good source for Win98 drivers would nice too if anyone has one.
hardware:
Pentium 233MMX
GigaByte 586HX (also have an Abit IT5H if that fails or acts goofy, but
THAT only has 4 simm slots, the Gigabyte has 6)
160MB EDO ram over six didmms (board won't cache all of it - only 64MB,
anyone got a TAG-RAM chip to make the 430HX chipset cache upto 512MB of
ram sitting around anywhere - either way, I'll take a slowdown over
swapfile activity.)
Riva 128 4MB PCI
Voodoo2 8MB (a friend has a 12MB board spare, is it possible to SLI an
8/12 pair, treating the 12MB card as an 8MB board? - and iirc, a
straight through 2-connector IDE cable can be used to bridge the
boards? - if not, what?)
SB AWE32 non-PNP (one of the first, circa 1994, ones, it's slightly
smaller than a surfboard, but only just.. also have an AWE32 PNP - but
I figure the non-PNP will be easier to get going for dos games, as I
recall, it was when I had it in daily use)
Also have an assortment of harddisks, and a Promise IDE controller to
facilitate using them to install lots of games on.
So, yeah, hints, suggestions, recommendations?
