And, more importantly, with DVD-DL getting cheaper, it's not that big of a
deal.  DVD DL discs are about $3-4.  So, as a cost for a recovery disc, it's
still mild.

I only concur fully as I've gotten 7g from an XP install compressed 
with Ghost onto a DVD-R. They're much cheaper than loading up HDs not 
to mention taking up much less physical space.
