I'm pretty unsure of that.. I do tons of shopping at Costco.  Have a good
friend who works there as well.  Heck, with starting pay at $14/hr, it's not
that bad ;)  Hell, even the uber-left leaners favor Costco.. plus they have
really good chicken ;)

I personally believe the way people 'buy" things these days just to use
them knowing they are going to return them later borders on criminal
conduct...  

I see it happening with tools, laser printers near colleges at exam times,
TV's during the play-offs, etc.....  I think it causes higher prices for
everyone in the long run, and it surely seems to be a lowering of moral
standards from when I was growing up......

But I guess that's just me.
