Intel 830MP chipset. IBM doesn't make chipsets for x86. :)


should be more than capable of running the 7K100. Just make sure to get the PATA version. :)


I assumed that... it is the 100GB size I am wondering about.

The 830 is more than capable of running a 100GB drive, as it supports 48bit LBA.
