To some extent I do, using encryption of course. For cached form data & passwords I am using Firefox with a master password & FIPS enabled.

In fact this was my point (about crawling where it should not go) months ago when this hit the scene and now the truth comes to light. IE bug nor not, the fact that it crawls into data I don't want it to is unforgivable and i's functionality forgoable.

A bug in Microsoft's Internet Explorer browser gives phishers a way to scan the hard drives of Google Desktop users, according to an Israeli hacker. Because of a flaw in the way IE processes Web pages, a malicious Web site could use the attack to steal sensitive information like credit card numbers or passwords from the hard drives of its visitors.
