Jim,

We have had two cell phones since '88 and about four years ago we took a good look at what we were getting with the landline. We decided that it would be better to just get rid of it. I think it was a good judgment as we have long distance anywhere and could have all the minutes we could use, for a price of course. The two phones cost, under the Family Plan cost just a little bit more than two landlines, including many taxes, and have the long distance on top of it. I don't think it is any more expensive. The only issue we have ever had with Verizon is billing, but that happens with all of them.

I'm certain someone will have something interesting to say about the other side of the story so I'll get off here right now.

Jeff

Subject: [H] cell to land line

I've been thinking about ditching verizion telephone service and just adding a cell line with the home number. It would be nice if I could integrate two 900 MHz telephones for use since the cell is small and does not make a loud enough ring to here throughout the house. Anybody have experience in this or has looked into something like this?

Jim
