I would normally choose ClarkConnect. But being a MAPS partner, if you resale, now may be a good time to learn some of the cooler stuff MS has to offer. Within your MAPS packet, you have ISA Server 2004. Install it. You can chose to throttle specific ports, activities, cache content, specific denies and allows.
Learning ISA 2004 can be a help, too, if you plan on selling it later. ISA has some pretty nifty features that I haven't seen mirrored anywhere else, in any product (it's a much better caching server then Squid, etc. in it's ability to tailor it to what to cache/not cache and update schema). So, if you want something sure fire, you can grab a ClarkConnect package for $65 and a low-end P3, and you're golden. If you want to use the software you have, construct a higher end box, and learn something you sell, ISA Server might be a good one to try out (or hell, just use Virtual PC, load up Win2k3 in a VPC, and install ISA on it, and use it as a pass-through required server if you're willing :) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------- FIGHT BACK AGAINST SPAM!
