I'm sure people felt the same way about slavery. Good thing they didn't
take the "resistance is futile" approach.
Some saw the end of slavery as progress some saw it as invasion of property
rights but inevitable because they knew it for what it was. Some did not
see "resistance as futile" and we had a civil war. Good example Thane.
