How did I know Chris would have the answer, even if it was one I didn't want to hear :-(
Is there something close to it that is PS2 compatable. If there is I will take my 4000 to work and buy the alternative for home. I especially love the padded wrist wrest on the 4000. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of CW Sent: Saturday, February 25, 2006 4:52 PM To: The Hardware List Subject: RE: [H] USB - PS2 convertor and Microsoft Ergo 4000 Because the Ergo4000 uses the new managable HID, there is no way to make it PS2 compatible. This is because it can be mapped to work as multiple devices as well as having programmability. So, you'll never (never) find a PS2 connector that will work with this. -----Original message----- From: "Neil Davidson" [EMAIL PROTECTED] Date: Sat, 25 Feb 2006 17:04:02 -0600 To: "'The Hardware List'" [email protected] Subject: RE: [H] USB - PS2 convertor and Microsoft Ergo 4000 > Regular PS2/USB keyboards autodetect which interface they are plugged > into and change their signalling/power accordingly.
