getting low on cdr's and want to get the inkjet printable, notice along with the white they also list silver inkjet printable, any one printed on these ? compared to white ? just wondering how it affects the colors.

I have both the white, and the silver CD blanks = Memorex. On some things, I really like the silver. If you do a good design, and remember that the silver will give things a transparent look, it can really come out looking like factory made. I use ShureThing to design my labels.

also is Taiyo Yuden still a good cdr brand to get ?

I use strictly Memorex for all my media, and have never had a problem. Memorex is one of the very few media "manufacturers". According to a article in PCMAG, there are only about seven manufacturers of CD DVD media in the world. Lack of manufacturing capability makes it hard for many "brands" to maintain quality over time.

also are there any that print to the center hole ? disappointed in my dvd's cause some labels really need to go all the way to the center, but is liveable. :-D

All my DVDs are "full face" but you need to specify this when designing, and printing. I haven't seen a full face CD yet.

thanks
