Have a customer with a hp 1320 hooked up to a win98 box and sharing that with a xp box. was working fine but now is real slow to spool and envelopes make word not responding and a weird error when trying to print from oe. error message from searches at ms could be lacking a security fix, somehow related to a borked kazaa uninstall or ?? the 98 box prints fine I have reinstalled ( re shared the printer in the xp box ) am thinking of hooking up the xp box direct with usb and leaving the 98 box hooked up to lpt. I have done this in the past with other printers but not sure if this one will complain or not. Is this wishful thinking ?
