I don't think any of that talk has been on the MSFT side, just outside
speculation.
With "business" Vista still shipping on time, consumer Vista still supposed
to go RTM this year, and the fact that such a substantial change would
require -much- more QA time means WinFS in Vista isn't going to happen.

It =had= been pulled, but now that Vista is pushed back to 2007, there is
some talk about trying to re-integrate it. Though, as of right now, it's
still not in.
