The Oki isn't actually a laser--it is an LED.
What exactly does that mean = LED?
I've only had one Oki printer. It worked great for about a weekend, then
mediocre for couple of years (very low usage) before it died. Won't bother
again.

Subject: RE: [H] Duplex and color Laser printing
Thanks to the collective for all the advice! I am down to two printers.
Both are color lasers, and both are on sale at Staples for 25 percent
off, so with my extended warranty credit,I can buy either one for 200 bucks.

OKI C3200n

HP has the rep on lasers, but the OKI is a much better value, with a far
better warranty. Normally, I would probably go with the HP, I learned my
lesson with the Konica laser, but have seen lots of OKI Data dot matrix
printers, commercial level, punching out insurance forms, in medical
offices, year after year, with little or no maintenance, and no problems.
Plus they have easily accessible, and useful tech support. So I am
leaning toward the OKI. The sales over tomorrow so I have to make a
decision. Anybody have experience with OKI lasers? Comments?
