I do advance replacements whenever I can. If I can't, I always leave a barely visible marker so I can see if I got the same exact item back.


Or, at least keep a copy of the serial number of the item you send to them. It makes you feel better to get somebody else's dead and repaired component than to get your dead and repaired component back. The sad part is your DOA's are technically new and what you get back could be a year or more old and repaired.
