I would get the model that supports 1 Gbps Network Speeds. I have a Encore
unit that supports 10/100 Mbps - and it is painfully slow. If you plan on
moving any number of files and/or larger one PLEASE go with the gig network
speed. When I can afford to add one of the Buffalo G units, I plan to take
the Encore offline and using it for archival purposes, only turning it back
on when I need to reach back.

Those that I have talked to with the Buffalo units are really happy.

Subject: [H] Buffalo Terastation

Being a photographer I have a need for lots of storage space. I
currently have 500 Gigs in my PC and am close to running out. Instead
of adding more drives I was thinking about purchasing a Buffalo
Terastation, seems like pretty good RAID storage for a decent price.
Does anyone have any experience with these? Are they decent units?
Should I be looking at something else?

Thanks!
