Sorry, I didn't notice you were looking for something with an amplified
output. You could always try the rat shack model, and see if it actually
meets your needs. I was surprised that the picture quality through the
switch was just as good as when hooked directly to the TV.

thanks but that model doesn't support S-Video. The one I have, that lasted
two years, was a Radio Shack, but the new model, which looks like the one
you posted, does not support direct switching in the S-Video model.
It is automatic as you turn devices on, which is annoying, or it has a
single manual switch that you have to cycle through the inputs, which is
even more annoying.
