Looks like both brand's bases are bluetooth and need BT enabled cell phone to work, so no cell signal boost from them.

You could get one of those car antenna kits and jack into phone for better reception.

Up until these, all I could find where bridges costing > $300 and they weren't even bluetooth. I wanted something that would let me use a bluetooth headset with on both cell & land line.
