Ashampoo has a software package that finds and repairs damaged MP3 files.

I have been problems with my iPOD and one of the articles I read said that
some damaged MP3 files could be causing the problem.

So what are the issues here, tag writers that add sloppy id's to the files
or rippers that don't exactly complete writing a clean ending to the file or
???

I really have never noticed a problem with my document files. If it can be
read it's always been ok - is this a case where MP3 writing software is not
complying with the standards?

Thanks
