It is a powder.... I have never seen degraded toner, and I have a
old cartridge here that is 8 years old in a old Epson Action laser
II that still works fine.
I've seen older cartridges (ones that sat in a box for two years)
give poor quality print (I assume the toner caked up, but I didn't
take it apart to check.) Now these were refurbs, so it could be the
cheap toner that doesn't last.
OKI 3500n, it's great so far, I really like it.... except it is
really huge and heavy. It is a office machine, you need a dedicated
cart for it.
Yeah, those colour lasers are real beasts, aren't they? Do the
colour toners rotate on that one, or are they inline?
