*laugh* go for it ;) The big benefit AMD gets out of acquiring ATI relates to their 4x4 processor model as well as next generation designs. It's like buying a research team. What Intel gets out of it *shrug* is basically just to keep it out of AMD's hands. Many thought AMD was overpaying. If Intel did buy at this price, I'm struggling to think of how this makes any research value to them.
