I have an old shuttle XPC SN41G2, and an Athlon XP 2500+ Barton. I'm looking to upgrade the CPU to the fastest Socket A I can find. I haven't used socket A in years. I see newegg has some Durons and Semprons. It's been so long since I've touched this. What's my best bet in terms of a CPU upgrade?
This isn't my main PC...i'm looking to make this into a HTPC for use in a second bedroom. Any other recommendations are welcome, but I'd like to keep the shuttle so I don't have to lay out any more money. Thanks! Chris
