No, but I do want to play them in 1920x1200 on my 24".  I'm not even that
into games...but when I play occasionally I want them to play nice.

Get a G965 based motherboard (it has the integrated graphics which you wont
be using of course). You have all the perks, including the latest intel
fakeraid ICH8R and DDR2-800 support. The only thing you will not have is
crossfire/sli support as there is only one PCIe x16 port. However a single
ATI x1950xtx or NV 7950GX2 should be plenty powerful unless you intend to
play Elder Scrolls Oblivion @ 2500x1600 on a 30" LCD.
