[H] OE weirdness

I have a machine with OE (yes, I know, but it's hard to convince the 
plebes) that won't display any mail.  The mailboxes have mail in them 
(I imported then into Eudora to check) but no mail shows up in OE 
when I select a mailbox.  When I'm selecting mailboxes, OE even shows 
19 unread messages in the Inbox (and if I send mail to the address 
the number goes up) but nothing shows up when I select the box.  It's 
XP, so I can't uninstall OE and reinstall it.  A repair install 
doesn't fix it.  Any ideas?
