If you don't like screwing with cartridges, and don't care about color,
then try a lightscribe burner.
I have a R200 that I bought a year ago, and I am at the last 25 percent of
the cartridges they give you. I don't print anything on it, but photo paper
prints, or CD/DVDs, and I don't do one of those very often. I turn it off,
and on only as needed, and I ordered one of those Epson head cleaner kits
somebody posted.... just in case.
However, I only paid fifty bucks for it, after CompUSA sale and rebates...
and since I use it so little, and a set of print cartridges cost 75
bucks, which will probably dry out before I get a chance to use them up (
Epson says to replace them every six months).... I don't mind getting a new
on sale printer every year or so, rather then screwing around with refills!
