Definitely not coming out of the speakers, it's a component inside the case, and I'm ~99% sure it's coming from the video card (hard to tell with ambient case noise)

Googling seems to confirm a LOT of people have squeak problems with ATI x1900xt ... I'm kind of worried. Going to switch in a new PSU tonight to see if that fixes it, otherwise will try an RMA.

Does it come out through the speakers or right from the component? It
sounds like you have a component on the board that is out of
compliance. I would put in another vid card to make sure, and then
return it. Fbsd doesn't do it probably because it's using generic
drivers and/or a subset of the cards features.

My new computer just started making a scroll / resize window high

(x1900xt). Squeaks almost constantly in iTunes.

Is this an RMA worthy defect, or should I do anything else? Doesn't
squeak at all in FreeBSD, does a lot in windows... weird
