Seriously, as long as it's not a realtek-branded solution, the sound onboard these days are leaps and bounds better than yesteryear (especially the nvidia dolby certified stuff and sigmatel's integrated logic on intel retail boards). If you want to save a *LITTLE* cpu overhead and perhaps gain a few frames, then the SB X-Fi fatality w/ XRAM is an option. Whether or not a few frames is worth $200 is up to you...
