Reception is not really a problem since we are all in the NYC tristate area
and Verizon is pretty rock solid in its home territory. Looking for feedback
in terms of reliability and durability. Thanks for all the great feedback.

I agree that trying them out for a couple days is best, but want to keep
that to a minimum, so I want to start off with something good...

I think making any statement about phone reception based on personal 
experience is just impossible to do with certainty.  There are just too 
many variable to reliably say that one phone's reception is better than 
another.  I'm not saying it's not true, but the demonstration of such is 
nearly impossible. IMO.
