editing, etc. I used to make that same argument all the time but I personally cant think of anything that I use that can't be done on a mac.
It is not personal home use applications that limit Apple. It is the thousands of proprietary business applications. Software for dentists, software for Vets, for real estate brokers, for hair salons, service stations, grocery stores,.... you name it. These are expensive, proprietary software that you are never going to find for Apple, or Linux for that matter. Maybe you can run it on top of a Apple, or dual boot, but what business is going to do that. A business will load up their business software in the morning, and use it all day, rarely loading anything else. I don't see this changing.
