Well, I wonder if support in Dell USA is different than Dell Canada.

The techs that come out are not Dell techs. They're 3rd party (used to be Unisys and Wang - dunno who they are now) who would come out and swap parts on site. They were always very good, but of course that's just my experience - I have no idea how they handle things up in the Great White North.
