Just because it's free with the OS does not make it decent & if anything
it's the other way around.
I see by your quoting that you don't use "selective text quoting" in your
replies. Oh wait a minute OE doesn't support this very basic feature that
almost all the other email apps do. OE also doesn't supt plugins that one
can get for Eudora that removes all the extra > when something has been
forwarded a half a dozen times. FWIW I backup my Eudora mailboxes to my
laptop & it's much easier than trying to find the OE mailboxes & I also
get my address book. Gee the Windows Address Book is not with the OE files
so it's somewhere else. The point is that MSFT likes to scatter things
everywhere instead of being neat which also happens to make things easier
to understand for the novices.
Nothing to do with free.....it works and it works well for my needs. That's
all I require. If Eudora rocks your boat, sweet, but I would maintain that
OE will suffice the majority of users.
