My 2 cents...
Got a CL Zen Xtra for 50 beens from a co-worker that dropped it and trashed
the hd. I replaced the 20 for a 40 gig for $75 via newegg. Could have went
to 80 but jeez, too much. Been using Yahoo music unlimited with my personal
collection for about a year now since it is one of the players that works
with the service. Yahoo's software is getting spiffy with updates.
Last time this came up was last Christmas and I think I mostly said the
same thing. Got some heat because of going rental music / DRM but it works
for me.
Little long in the tooth the Xtra is (yoda moment) but plays well. When a
40 gig Xtra was like $300, it was a bit pricey but considering paying over
a hundred bucks for something that only holds 4gigs is down right wacked.
