Well, Beyond TV has yet to crash on me. The recordings seem to come
out cleaner also. It allows you to record all of a given show, or
just the new shows. And it also adds the title of the show to the
file name. The interface is nonstandard and kind of different, but
as long as I get good recordings...
So overall, I like Beyond TV much better than the WinTV2000
stuff. If any of you have any other recommendations as to what may
work better, fire away! I saw earlier that many of you are having
problems with Sage TV.
What was that other free software that some of you seem to like?

Just another vote for BeyondTV. Updated to v4.5, using it with a
Firefly remote (w/BeyondMedia basic) and Sapphire Theatrix 550 Pro.
Could be a little happier, but it works as a kinda rough
proof-of-concept HTPC for now :P
