I inadvertently replied to James. The answer was that the same settings
were used to record the shows off of cable.

But, I think I know what the difference may be, Andy Griffith and The
Twilight Zone are b/w and Star Trek is in color. Does that sound logical?

Are the source codes of the two types equal? Same quality and size?

Hey,

I was wondering what makes such a difference in transcoding times. 4
Twilight Zones or 4 Andy Griffiths (recorded off of cable with commercials
edited out) take about 30 minutes to transcode and burn. While 2 Star Treks
take about an hour to transcode and burn.

Settings in Nerovision are set to fit the DVD (usually is reported as
excellent quality).

Thanks,
Bobby
