status.
Drives were installed in Jan, Compaq with winME. one drive system, other drive
for backing up with Duocor Xactcopy.

Drives were seen full size and working fine in Jan. Lady called and said she
was getting out of space messages. Bios sees the drives full size, WD
Diagnostics see the drive full size and check out OK. Windows sees 5899 gig. (
yesterday I sware it was seeing more) I worked on it today and have NO CLUE
WTF. Somehow someone had uninstalled Xactcopy. I suspect fowl play. I am going
to bring the system back to the shop and ghost it to another drive and see if I
can get it back. I put the backup sw back in so she at least has a backup. FWIW
fdisk sees both drives exactly the same size ( run from windows)

May be some weird windows bug also or maybe a controller MB problem. Have not
seen this B4
have not pulled the drives to check jumpers BUT they were fine in Jan and I
doubt anyone has pulled them and fiddled with jumpers. Customer claims no one
has worked on this system but I wonder.
thanks
