Hello JRS, Just switched my rig over from a single-core 754 Venice. Am using the 965P-DS3 and love it so far (runs my E6400 @ 3.3GHz using cheapie Kingston DDR2-667 value stuff).
Do note that price cuts are coming around Q2 of next year where you will be able to get 4MB L2 versions of the E6300 and E6400 for much less than either of those now (IIRC, it was something like <= $140 for the 4MB version of the E6400). HTH -- JW
