Plus, wasn't Word the default renderer for Outlook 2003?

I have to write HTML newsletters for my company. (opt-in.) The stuff that I inherited is awful - all sorts of MS Word html tags and the like. I am currently ripping it apart and replacing all of the formatting with standard HTML 4.01 compliant stuff. Hopefully this will make the newsletters render faster and give us more cross platform compatibility.

Back to the future..

MS rips out IE from Outlook 2007 as the HTML Rendering engine..

This is a good thing.
