This is encouraging. I believe most hackers go for the easier targets, like house burglars and car thieves. Then you have the pros who use their expertise for high dollar returns for their illegal investments. Then there are those who love the thrill of the challenge and hack the high security areas just for the fun of it.

The phishing filter on Internet Explorer 7 really slows down web page acess, but it is a price well worth paying for the needed security. Security at the Super Bowl was a job well done for which we should be thankful, not complacent. Our local bank branch got tired of frequent armed robberies, so they now have bullet proof glass. The robbers seek easier targets.

Again, very nice to know that Microsoft is like that bank, having reasonable security for today's threat level, not for yesterday's threat level.
