One thing I've done in the past to do this is just make a file the size of
the rest of your disk, then delete it.
Probably not of assistance for you, but in linux I just:
dd if=/dev/random of=/home/myfile.bin; rm /home/myfile.bin
Axcrypt has the ability to shred files before deletion, but I don't think
they added the ability to do so to the unused portion of the disk.
